Project PREP
I am the dedicated Instructional Designer for Project PREP (Partnering to Renew the Educator Pipeline). I work with instructors who are creating on-demand badging courses for Clay County District Schools in the state of Florida.
CidiLab Tools
Cidi Lab Tools are a powerful set of design resources that provide plug-ins for the Canvas LMS. I love using the Multi-Tool especially the template builder for the design of complex courses. The Design Tools provide easily accessible HTML "cheats" to quickly design engaging and professional pages.
ASL3435 Fingerspelling and Numbers
ASL3435 Fingerspelling and Numbers is the brainchild of faculty member Michael Stultz. We have been working to bring his vision to life, providing students with specialized videos to demonstrate American Sign Language. We have worked on more than 2,300 videos to support student engagement via receptive quizzes, expressive assignments, fly on the wall observations, and a detailed glossary. The development and coordination of this course required advanced project management, strategic organization, and strong interpersonal skills to navigate complex logistics and foster effective collaboration across stakeholders.
Innovate E3
This Innovate E3 website was a collaborative project in a doctoral course focusing on Experimenting, Educating, and Encouraging our learners. We dreamed big and decided this could be a potential solution to build strong schools. What do you think of our potential dream project?
Project highlights
The Dean of Students wanted to create a more modern student-friendly Canvas course resource. We designed a banner, revised page layouts, and created topical image icons. This resource is available to all UNF students.
During our Center for Instruction and Research Technology (CIRT) open house, I created an engaging activity called "Spin To Win" for our guests. I was able to use a Spinning Wheel (think roulette-type wheel) borrowed from our library. I created a corresponding Google Site/game to engage with our participants.
ClickUp is our project management tool. Every task, every job, every project is added and managed in this system. It helps with task distribution and meeting deadlines.
I have been the Teaching Online Foundation Course facilitator for five years. From the administration, the design, and the implementation, I have supported UNF instructors as they learn best practices to teach online.
